چکیده
Abstract Due to their high specificity and efficacy, RNA interference (RNAi)-based strategies have been used for fundamental functional genomics studies in a number of insects. However, its potential translational applications pest management is also great interest. The lack suitable RNAi triggering approaches, however, so far has largely precluded the implementation RNAi-based approaches target aphids. In this work, we first demonstrate that Flock House virus (FHV), an insect virus, can infect multiple aphid species, including green peach aphid, Myzus persicae (M. persicae) , corn leaf Rhopalosiphum maidis (R. maidis) bird cherry-oat padi padi) by both microinjection oral feeding. Using fluorescent protein (GFP) as indicator, showed defective interfering (DI-634) FHV RNA2, which generated autonomously during wild-type (WT) replication, carry foreign sequences, further expression. More importantly, engineered DI-634 was incorporated into particles co-infections with WT FHV. virions containing genetically modified DI-634, accumulation levels M. mRNAs Cathepsin L ( CatL ) Sugar Transporter 4 ST4 ), were decreased ~ 35% 30–50%, respectively when injected intrathoracically Finally, more practical relevance, acquisition these caused lethality . summary, proof-of-concept, our work demonstrates be valuable tool research, suggests opportunities using viruses biological agents control.

Tomato and Tobacco Phytoene Desaturase Gene Silencing by Virus-Induced Gene Silencing (VIGS) Technique
Background and Aims: Virus-Induced Gene Silencing (VIGS) is a virus vector technology that exploits antiviral defense mechanism. By infecting plants with recombinant viruses containing host genes inserted in the viral genome, VIGS achieves the RNA silencing process. The purpose of this study was to investigate the possibility of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.) and tobacco (Nicotiana be...

Virus-Induced Gene Silencing, a Post Transcriptional Gene Silencing Method
Virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS) is one of the reverse genetics tools for analysis of gene function that uses viral vectors carrying a target gene fragment to produce dsRNA which trigger RNA-mediated gene silencing. There are a number of viruses which have been modified to silence the gene of interest effectively with a sequence-specific manner. Therefore, different types of methodologies ha...

this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...
Sugarcane Mosaic Virus-Based Gene Silencing in Nicotiana benthamiana
Background:Potyvirus-based virus-induced gene silencing (VIGS) is used for knocking down the expression of a target gene in numerous plant species. Sugarcane mosaic virus (SCMV) is a monopartite, positive single strand RNA virus. Objectives:pBINTRA6 vector was modified by inserting a gene segment of SCMV in place of Tobacco rattle virus (TRV) genome part 1 (TRV1 or RNA1)...
